Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater and on to Lake Manyara
The crater floor, then the Rift Valley

It is known for its tree-climbing lions and flocks of flamingos. Game drive for elephant, lions, buffalo, zebra, giraffe, hippopotamus, with the chance of a treetop canopy walkway or birdwatching. Overnight: Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge on the Classic option, with higher-grade camps and lodges on Signature and Sublime. Drive on to Tarangire in the afternoon.

Day 6: Tarangire, then Arusha and Zanzibar
A last drive, then fly to the coast

Tarangire National Park, about 2,850 km² south-west of Arusha, is known for its giant baobab trees and elephant herds that can number up to 300. Spend a full day on game drives along the Tarangire River looking for elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, with a picnic lunch in the bush. Day 7: Zanzibar
Beach, Stone Town and spice tours

Choose between a Stone Town heritage walk, a spice plantation tour, snorkelling or diving, and a dhow sunset cruise, or simply spend the day on the beach. What is the difference between Classic, Signature and Sublime?

Classic: comfortable lodges, seasoned guides and a shared vehicle. Signature: elevated camps, smaller groups and richer inclusions. Sublime: top-tier lodges, a private guide and vehicle, and fly-in transfers.

When is the best time to go?

Dry season (Jun – Oct): The migration heads north through Seronera towards the Western Corridor and the Grumeti River crossings. Ngorongoro Crater: Wet season (Nov – May): Best for vibrant landscapes, but expect rain and muddy roads. Dry season (Jun – Oct): Best for game viewing, with clear skies and easier travel.
