Maasai Mara Conservancies

The Mara Conservancies are community-owned wildlife areas that offer some of Kenya’s most exclusive and sustainable safari experiences. These protected lands allow visitors to enjoy intimate encounters with nature while directly supporting local Maasai communities.

Mara Naibosho Conservancy

Aptly named, the Mara Naboisho (‘come together’ in Maasai) Conservancy, is a shining example of what good can come out of teamwork. The conservancy stems from the collaboration of over 500 Maasai families working together to conserve their land and wildlife. The result: the Mara Naboisho Conservancy has only eight camps, but countless big cats, herds of wildebeest, giraffes and elephants.
